The clients live in a busy and compact area in Cape Town and secured this beautiful corner stand on The Island in Sedgefield. It faces a green belt and even though the view is south facing, the brief was clear: “It’s our holiday home and we don’t want to see neighbours.”

Left with creative freedom, we created a ‘boomerang’ shaped house with a large covered deck facing the green belt. The entire roof sits on glass to let in the maximum north light. It is open plan and spacious with two bedrooms sitting on opposite sides of the house.
